“ We've dined at the Takumi many times over the years, but had not been since the start of the pandemic. I'm happy to report we had a good dinner, and found the place very busy. There seemed to be non-stop birthday parties in the hibachi dining room. We ate in the main dining room, and the sushi bar is another dining option. For cocktails, the Mai-Tai's here are delicious and potent, a bit of a "sweet tart" taste, perhaps not for everybody. We've always found the sushi to be fresh and delicious and tonight was no exception. There are a wide variety of rolls as well as the usual sushi options one would expect. We also enjoyed several of the hot appetizers which were also good and again a nice variety of options. The Gyoza here are very thin, refined and delicate. Veggie fried rice was outstanding. Glad to see the Takumi has weathered the pandemic, and we will be back again. ”
